John was born in Torrance California, which is a Mecca for mixed martial arts. His father was a Kenpo karate brown belt, so he naturally aspired to be like him. At 15 years old he started training kickboxing with the Brazilian fighter named Rodrigo Cunharp. During this period in his life, he fell in love with kickboxing and boxing. Teaching Brazilian jujitsu out of their garage, he grew up down the block from the headquarters, and always had an interest in martial arts and fitness. Little did he know he would become an expert!
He knew he should have been a personal trainer, 6 years into a full career he left his TV graphics job, and got certified. He always was a gym rat so when he finally did this, everyone said “It’s about time!" So let’s do great work!
From John - My goal for you is to make healthy living an EASY part of your life. To take the “stress” out of it and FINALLY feel and see results, without feeling restricted. I don’t want you to see this as another diet and exercise plan, rather, I want this to be your new lifestyle. You have taken the first step, so let’s see where having a custom plan, being consistent and working on small changes will take you. I know you can do it!
